By subscribing to the Spartan Online Group Programmes, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms apply equally to all subscription plans (monthly or prepaid) unless otherwise specified.

1. Subscription Commitment

  • Minimum Term: All new subscriptions require a commitment to a full initial term of at least three (3) months. This applies to both monthly and prepaid plans (detailed below).
  • Monthly Plan: If you choose the monthly subscription (£79 per month), you are committing to a minimum of 3 months. After this initial 3-month period, the subscription continues on a rolling monthly basis until you cancel (with notice as outlined below).
  • Prepaid Plans: If you choose a prepaid fixed-term subscription (3, 6, or 12 months paid upfront), you are committing to the full duration of that plan. The subscription will last for the exact 3, 6, or 12 months from the date of sign-up, respectively, and will not continue beyond that term unless you resubscribe. No early termination or mid-term cancellation is allowed on prepaid plans.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • How to Cancel: All cancellation requests must be submitted via email to jack@spartanperformance.co.uk.
  • Notice Period: Cancellations take effect 7 days from the date your cancellation email is received. You will maintain access during this 7-day notice period, and any applicable final charges will be processed during this time.
  • Initial Term Obligation: Early termination is not permitted during your initial commitment period (the first 3 months for monthly plans, or the full duration of prepaid plans). You cannot cancel and receive a refund for any unused portion of your initial term.
  • Prepaid Plan Expiry: Prepaid subscriptions (3, 6, or 12 months) will automatically expire at the end of the prepaid term. These plans do not require a cancellation notice since they do not auto-renew. If you do not wish to continue after the term, simply allow it to end. (If you do wish to continue, you will need to actively resubscribe or choose a new plan at that time.)

3. Payment Terms

  • All Sales Final: All payments are final. No refunds will be provided for any reason, including but not limited to lack of use, partial use of the service, or changes in your personal circumstances. This policy applies equally to monthly subscriptions and all prepaid plans.
  • Subscription Options & Pricing: You may choose among the following subscription options:
    • Monthly Subscription: £79 per calendar month, paid monthly. (Minimum first term of 3 months.) After the first 3 months, this plan continues month-to-month until you cancel (with 7 days’ notice required as per the Cancellation Policy)
    • 3-Month Prepaid: £215 upfront, covering 3 months of access. This plan runs for a fixed 3-month period from the date of signup. It does not renew automatically. There are no refunds if you choose to stop using the service during this period.
    • 6-Month Prepaid: £400 upfront, covering 6 months of access. This plan runs for a fixed 6-month period from the date of signup, with no automatic renewal. It is non-refundable and cannot be cancelled mid-term.
    • 12-Month Prepaid: £760 upfront, covering 12 months of access. This plan runs for a fixed 12-month period from the date of signup, with no automatic renewal. It is non-refundable and cannot be cancelled mid-term.
  • Equal Benefits: All subscription plans provide the same level of access to services and benefits. The only difference is pricing — longer commitments are offered at a discounted rate per month as an incentive for an extended upfront commitment.
  • Billing & Auto-Renewal: By selecting the Monthly Subscription, you agree that your card will be charged £79automatically each month after your initial 3-month term, continuing until you cancel as per the cancellation policy. Prepaid subscriptions, however, are one-time charges that do not auto-renew. Once a prepaid term ends, you will not be charged again unless you actively choose to resubscribe for a new term.
  • Prepaid Plan Conditions: Prepaid plans are paid in full upfront and are non-cancellable and non-refundable once payment is processed. The term begins on the sign-up date and runs continuously for the purchased duration (3, 6, or 12 months) regardless of usage – there are no freezes, pauses, or partial refunds for unused time.
  • Equal Access for All Plans: All subscription plans (monthly or prepaid) include the same level of access, features, and support. Choosing a longer prepaid term does not provide any additional services or perks beyond the cost savings. The only difference between plans is the payment schedule and pricing, not the content or quality of the program you receive.

4. Access and Delivery of Services

  • Onboarding: Upon successful payment, you will be onboarded into the program within 24 hours on weekdays (or 48 hours on weekends). This onboarding includes setting up your access to the TrainHeroic app, adding you to the private Spartan Online Facebook Group, and granting access to any members-only website or resources.
  • Training App Access: Your subscription grants you access to Spartan Online Group training programmes delivered exclusively via the TrainHeroic App. You will receive an invitation or instructions to join your programme on the app as part of onboarding. (Note: The TrainHeroic app is free for you to use with your subscription.)
  • Standardised Programmes: All group programmes are preset and standardized. This means the workouts and content are the same for all members of that programme. No customisation or individual modifications to the training plans are available under the group online subscription.
  • Requirements: You are responsible for downloading the TrainHeroic app (if not already installed) and having an internet connection to access the training content. The app setup is required to participate, but it is provided at no additional cost as part of your subscription.

5. Support and Communication

  • Online Support Group: Coaching support is provided exclusively through the private Spartan Group Online Facebook Group for members. Once subscribed, you will be invited to join this Facebook community, where you can interact with coaches and fellow members.
  • Facebook Access: It is the subscriber’s responsibility to have and maintain a working Facebook account to utilize the support system. All Q&A sessions, announcements, and interactive support occur in the Facebook group.
  • Coaches’ Corner: Weekly “Coaches’ Corner” sessions (recorded videos, live Q&As, or posts) are provided in the Facebook group. You can submit questions and receive guidance through these sessions. These resources are only available within the private group, so regular participation in the group is encouraged to get the full benefit of the programme.
  • No 1-on-1 Coaching: Please note that this is a group-based programme. Coaches will interact and provide feedback within the group, but one-on-one individualized coaching or private consultations are not included in this subscription.

6. Programme Transparency

  • Programme Details Provided: Before subscribing, you will be provided with full details of each available training programme so you can choose the one that best fits your goals. The information you will receive for each programme includes:
    • The overall goal or focus of the programme.
    • Expected outcomes or results you might achieve by following the programme as prescribed (assuming full adherence to the training and guidance).
    • The weekly training frequency (e.g., how many sessions per week).
    • The estimated duration of each training session.
    • The minimum equipment required to participate in the programme.
    • Any additional recommended equipment that could enhance your training experience or results (though not strictly required).
  • Informed Decision: By subscribing, you confirm that you have reviewed these programme details and understand the scope and limits of the training offered. You accept that these are group-based programmes delivered as-is to all participants, and you are enrolling with full knowledge of the programme format and requirements. There will be no custom-tailoring beyond what has been described to you upfront.

7. Service Modifications

  • Programme Updates: Spartan Online reserves the right to update, modify, or replace any of the group training programmes at its discretion. This could include changes to workout routines, program structure, or platform features as needed to improve the service or respond to new information.
  • Notice of Changes: While we may not provide individual prior notice for routine updates or changes to the programmes, we will endeavor to inform members through the Facebook group or TrainHeroic app announcements when significant changes occur.
  • No Refunds for Changes: Changes or modifications to the programme do not entitle subscribers to any refund or compensation. All programmes are subject to evolution, and such modifications are considered a normal part of the subscription service. Subscribers acknowledge that the fitness industry is dynamic and programmes may be adjusted to maintain effectiveness or quality.
  • Continued Access: If a programme you are following is replaced or updated, your subscription will continue to grant you access to the new or updated programme for the remainder of your term. You agree to adapt to the updated training programme as part of the service offering.

8. Payment Method & Failed Payment Policy

  • Payment Method: All payments are processed securely via Stripe using a valid credit or debit card. No other forms of payment (including bank transfers, PayPal, cash, etc.) are accepted.
  • Card Authorisation: By subscribing, you authorise Spartan Online Coaching to charge your card automatically for the agreed plan at the stated intervals (monthly or one-off, depending on plan).
  • Failed Payments: If your payment fails (e.g. insufficient funds, expired card), your account will be suspended until payment is successfully collected. Access to all services (including TrainHeroic and the Facebook group) will be paused.
  • Chargebacks: If you dispute a legitimate charge through your bank or card provider (“chargeback”), your account will be immediately terminated and all access revoked. Spartan Online Coaching will vigorously dispute unjustified chargebacks and may pursue recovery of unpaid fees, legal costs, and associated administrative expenses.

9. Non-Refundable & Non-Transferable

  • Non-Refundable: All payments are strictly non-refundable, including but not limited to early cancellations, inactivity, illness, injury, holidays, or changes in personal circumstances. You are paying for access to the programme, not for guaranteed outcomes or personal usage levels.
  • No Freezes or Pauses: Subscriptions may not be paused, deferred, or frozen under any circumstances. This applies equally to all plan types.
  • Non-Transferable: Your subscription is personal to you. It may not be transferred, sold, or gifted to another individual. Logins, app access, and group privileges are strictly for the paying subscriber.

10. Fair Use & Access Restrictions

  • Individual Use Only: Access to all digital platforms (TrainHeroic, Facebook group, members website) is granted solely to the named subscriber. Sharing logins, duplicating content, or broadcasting sessions to others is strictly prohibited.
  • Content Protection: All materials, including but not limited to training programmes, PDFs, videos, Q&A recordings, and nutritional guidance are protected intellectual property of Spartan Online Coaching. These may not be reproduced, republished, redistributed, screenshotted, or adapted without express written permission from Jack Lovett or Spartan Online Coaching.
  • Violation of Fair Use: Any breach of fair use, unauthorised access sharing, or misuse of programme content will result in immediate termination of access without refund and may lead to legal action.

11. Data Protection & Privacy (UK GDPR Compliance)

  • Data Controller: Spartan Online Coaching is the registered data controller for all subscriber data. You can contact us at jack@spartanperformance.co.uk for all data queries or subject access requests.
  • Data Use: We collect and store only the necessary data required to deliver your coaching subscription, including name, email address, training data (via TrainHeroic), and Facebook Group access. Your data will never be sold, shared, or used outside of Spartan Online Coaching operational requirements.
  • Third-Party Tools: We use third-party platforms (Stripe, TrainHeroic, Facebook) to deliver services. Each has its own data processing policies. You accept their use as part of your subscription.
  • Retention: Your data will be securely retained for the duration of your subscription and for up to 12 months thereafter for legal and administrative purposes.

12. Assumption of Risk & Disclaimer

  • Health Disclaimer: By subscribing, you confirm that you are medically cleared to participate in strength and conditioning programmes. You acknowledge that exercise carries inherent risk, including but not limited to injury, illness, or in rare cases, death.
  • Personal Responsibility: You assume full responsibility for your participation in all activities provided through Spartan Online. It is your responsibility to train within your physical limits and consult a medical professional if uncertain.
  • Results Not Guaranteed: While Spartan Online programmes are built on proven methods, we do not guarantee specific results, physique changes, performance outcomes, or rate of progress. Results depend on numerous factors outside of our control, including your consistency, nutrition, effort, and recovery.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • Jurisdiction: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England & Wales.
  • Venue: Any disputes arising under this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
  • Dispute Resolution: We encourage members to raise concerns with us directly at jack@spartanperformance.co.uk before initiating formal proceedings.

14. Acceptance of Terms

By ticking the confirmation box at checkout or signing electronically, you acknowledge that:

  • You have read and understood these Terms & Conditions in full.
  • You agree to be legally bound by them without limitation.
  • You waive the right to dispute charges or demand a refund due to non-use, change of circumstances, or perceived service dissatisfaction once access is granted.
